If I have a piano recital coming up, I can practice a few extra hours a day and do more work afterwards. In the regular school, everyone works at the same pace, whereas with iQ, you can work fast, go on to the next subject when you’re done and have time for other things.
Teachers will post regular "office Hours" of availability in their courses for students and parents to see. During these hours, teachers can be contacted by phone or through Elluminate, the synchronous tool iQ Academies use to facilitate real-time communication online. In addition to these hours, students or parents can contact the teacher(s) by telephone or by e-mail with any questions or concerns. Teachers are required to respond to all inquiries within a maximum time of 24 hours during the school week, but many teachers respond much more quickly than that to questions.
